Living with heart failure can be tough. EMPOWER is here to help.
EMPOWER is a mental wellness intervention that includes a psychology-based coping skills program (topics include pacing to save energy, managing thoughts, sleep etc.), access to weekly mind-body routines with movement, breathwork and meditations. Each week, a tip is also provided about heart failure from a leading expert in the field.
Commitment: approximately 90 minutes each week (spread over 3 times each week) for 12 weeks.
Participants must also complete surveys about their health and experience in the program at the beginning and end of the program which take about 40 minutes each time.
